Alumni Network

Our alumni programs harness the potential of our alumni as agents of change, supporting and activating past participants to multiply their impact.

AMPLIFYING SUSTAINED IMPACT

Expanding alumni Offerings

Our pool of alumni includes trusted, diverse leaders from all corners of American life who are well-positioned to play an impactful role in transforming toxic polarization through their leadership.

RTT’s new alumni program supports past participants in their ongoing practice, proactively encouraging multiplier effects and supporting alumni to apply RTT’s approach and tools over the long term. We offer refresher training, advanced training, DIY resources, and office hours/consultation, expanding downstream impacts in the sectors and institutions our alumni serve.

FACILITATING BEST-CASES

Harnessing The potential of our alumni

A recent external evaluation identified factors that facilitate and inhibit best-case scenarios we’ve seen for what our alumni can achieve. Building on these insights, we are empowering our exceptionally diverse alumni network to strengthen longitudinal commitment and capacity to transform division and forge pluralism-in-action.

Honestly, I could do this training again and again, I love it so much. This is my second time doing skill-building with Resetting the Table and I learn more and more every time I do it! These skills are useful both in my daily encounters and when I am facilitating large groups.”

This experience has been a powerful antidote to the dread of conflict. With RTT’s help, conflict has become a place to learn more and grow in understanding and empathy for others. Before this training, the goal of growth from conflict was abstract and rarely realized. Now we have actionable steps and tools that have the potential to move everyone involved in a conflict toward growth and mutual respect.”

Lea, North American Regional Director, Bible Study Fellowship

This was the most important content for me and for my work and for my life! Pedagogically, it was the best training I've ever attended. With compassion, directness, and genuine faith in us, our facilitators guided us with heart, respect, and clarity through the skills, ideological underpinnings, and art of the RTT methodology.”

Simply put, this is the best professional development program I have participated in. The framework is simple, sophisticated, and most importantly, effective…These skills are a must-have for anyone who works in community or engages in conversations about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Resetting the Table is like active listening on steroids. The whole process starts with being able to really pinpoint what someone is saying/feeling in an accurate reflection, which is such a valuable skill not just for handling hard conversations, but for life.”

One of the most exciting tenets of Resetting the Table is that we don’t set aside or table our disagreement. We put it out there. Let’s name it, let’s understand for each individual across the table from you– not stereotyping or assuming—now I understand what our disagreement really is. Because we name it, we drain it of its power to divide. We may find that we’re pretty stuck in our disagreement, but at least we see each other and extend the common bond of brotherly love. It opens up doors of conversation that we didn’t have before.”
